Losing my marbles!

A friend shared this idea with me - I wanted to share it with you.
For those of you who are in the weight loss mode:
Take as many marbles as you have pounds to lose and put them on a large plate - then as you lose a pound, take a marble and transfer it to a jar. Soon you'll see your jar fill up and the plate starts to look empty. Hopefully that motivates you to keep pushing until every marble is in your jar.
In this case, losing your marbles is a good thing!

Had a friend who did something similar with patio bricks. She had 40 lbs to lose, so she went and bought 40 patio bricks and put them in a pile in her yard. Each time she lost a pound, she'd place one of those bricks in a little patio area until she had built area nice little fire ring area!0

I saw a post by a lady on here in that her daughter gave her a marble every time she lost 1lb , which I thought was lovely. I prefer going into the gym and picking up a weight equivalent to what youve lost as a reminder.0
