New To This - Help/Motivation
Hi,
I'm new to this. I was wondering if I could have a little motivation. I am wanting to lose 120 pounds. I am not rushing it, but I am wanting to lose it in the shortest time period. I don't mind if it's years. I just want to lose it now. I'm tired of the body that I am in. I feel trapped. Are there any exercise plans that you guys have to offer? What are foods that I need to avoid and what may I eat?
Thanks in advance MFPs

I think many of us know how you feel. Take it one day at a time. You didn't gain the weight overnight, and you won't lose it overnight. Make some healthy goals like: drinking 8 glasses of water a day; exercising 3x/week, eating 4-5 servings of fruits/veg a day, staying in your calorie range... keep checking in on these boards, you will find a lot of information! Ask people for their favorite foods - snacks or meals. People can open up their food log for you and you can take a peek at what they are eating daily, and that can give you ideas too. Plan ahead! Plan meals, snacks, exercise... I stay on track the best when I make a plan for the day or week.
Two of my current favorite websites for recipes and snacks are: www.skinnytaste.com and www.snack-girl.com. A lot of people like Hungry Girl a lot too.
Remember - every day you choose to eat healthy and exercise is a day that you are closer to your goal! (and not "trapped" in your body or worse, gaining more weight!)0
