How much weight do I need to lose

So I have a belly. I know you can't target fat so I'm trying to figure out what my goal weight should be before I focus back on weight lifting. I am 5'4, I weight 118. Let me know what other info you need.

118 is in the healthy range. You should have been focused on lifting the entire way through. Never too late to start0

I don't think you need to lose any more weight, as you're pretty slim already, but just have a belly.
I would start lifting weights and start eating more Protein (at your maintenance calories).

At 118, I would say none. Time for a body recomp instead.0

What's body recomp? Sooo what about the belly fat. I'm not supposed to do direct ab work so I would have to do legs, back, arms.0

If you aren't supposed to do direct ab work due to being post partum or post surgery, then consult your health provider for particular guidelines - any full body exercise that involves body weight progressing to iron, and eating at maintenance, will help you out I think.

Cardio can help with that. There's no spot reducers. Start by walking, then running. If after 6 months there's no change you can see a plastic surgeon. Even though I gained weight, my belly stayed flat from my tummy tuck!0
