Triathlon and Meal Planning

Hi, I just joined myfitnesspal. I am also returning to triathlon training after a long hiatus from the sport due to a hit and run bike accident in 2008. I am interested to know if anyone is following a meal plan that correlates with triathlon training. I am semi vegetarian and eat only organic fish and chicken as my source of protein. If you can direct me to a thread or discussion on this topic, that will be great. Thanks.

    Hey Henri! If you find a group I'd love to join in too! I'm on my 4th Ironman and having weight issues this year. I can't seem to get down to race weight and my muscle content is down 5% from this time last year despite training between 13-15 hours a week. Arrrg!

    Hi Henry, I would also be interested as a novice triathlete, I don't really know what, how much I should be eating. Also seem to struggle with 'yo yo' dieting.
