Hello. today I went a little overboard. for lunch I had a double bacon clubhouse, no bacon, small fry, 5 chocolate chip cookies, a double cheeseburger, a medium iced caramal mocha, and a 4 piece nugget. It has been 2 weeks since I decided to get my self together and leave all the garbage foods behind but its hard, especially since I'm IF and have to wait 8 hours after I wake uo to eat my first meal. So far I have been doing good but today I said forget it im eating what I want and no one is gonna make me feek bad about it. I dont know why im telling you all this but here it is.

Try not to think of behavior / decisions as good or bad. That kind of a lunch just happens.
Then you start right back on your plan.0 -
If the periods of fasting are causing you to over eat during your eating window maybe IF isn't the best plan for you.0

Sorry, I couldn't get past... "a double bacon clubhouse, no bacon," No bacon? No bacon? On a double bacon clubhouse?! That's where your problem lies because bacon is the answer to everything!!
Seriously though, it's just one day, did you enjoy it? If so, count it as an enjoyable feast and go back to plan tomorrow. If you didn't enjoy it, put it down to experience and remember you didn't really enjoy it next time you are tempted. Such is life, don't beat yourself up about it!0 -
Lol@ no bacon.
Dont worry, just log it and move on. Stuff happens do better tomorrow. If you keep going over like this then IF isnt working and operhaps just a normal deficit or other straegies might suit you better. The aim of your diet should be to find soemthing that works for you.
Whatever you do, dont beat yourself up, its pointless and undermines you.0 -

I agree, IF may not be the plan for you and there should always be our favorite foods/treats in our daily eating plan!0

lol I'm not that big on bacon, and I don't feel as bad as I did, and its not the fasting part that made me overeat, it was that same grilled chicken I was eating for two weeks straight lol. before I discovered IF I was pretty much doing it everyday, I just didnt know it. The problem was I limited myself too much and cut everything at once. From now on im just going to cut things slowly, but im still going to enjoy my cookies and ice cream everyonce in a while, just in moderation. I appreciate all the feedback from you all I have definately learned alot.0
