Hi,
I have been on here since Feb 2011. This is my first time seriously trying to lose weight. It is long overdue and I want to be fitter and healthier, not to mention looking better!! I started at 241 lbs and I am currently around 181 lbs. The weight had been coming off me steadily until 3 weeks ago, then I put on 1 pound and since then cant get back on track! I know its not much but I feel disappointed that I am still eating the same and exercising the same but not losing.

Should I maybe change my goals for awhile. I am set to 1200 a day with a projected weight loss of 1.2lbs a week. My life style is sedentary as I work in an office all day. I go to Zumba twice a week and walk several times a week, plus exercise bike. Cant do weights just now as I have Tennis Elbow!

I would appreciate some more friends to help keep me motivated! I love this site and I know I wouldnt have come this far without it!!

    Hi

You have done really well so far.

I got stuck and for a week did low carb, high protein, so I ate carbs at breakie (peanut butter on toast) and then for snacks had cottage cheese, fruit, small piece of cheese etc. I had egg, tuna, ham salad for lunch or veg soup and for supper I have anythign really as long as lots of veg (no pots, pasta, rice though). It seem to work.

I a bit stuck again now, so going to do it again xxxxx

I'm still new here, but I'm sure one of the more experienced people will be able to help you break through this plateau. Losing 32 pounds is a great accomplishment in and of itself, so I'm sure you can do it!
