Losing weight consistently??

Ok Opinion Time MFP-ers!! How many of you out there actually lose weight consistently every week? The reason I ask: I am seeing a nutritionist every 6 weeks or so, and during our last meeting, I lost about 5 pounds = ~1 lb per week = normal ... the thing is, I didnt "see" the scale go down 1 lb every week ... in fact, for about 4 weeks my weight stayed the same, and then one day i stepped on it, and boom, i was down 5 pounds. My nutritionist says its normal ... but 5 pounds in 6 weeks doesnt seem like alot .. i KNOW i have to be in it for "the long haul" and "slow & steady wins the race" blah blah blah ... but its frustrating to see every week people on here are losing 1-2 pounds per week, while im stuck at the same weight for a month! .. Comments/Suggestions/kick-in-the-as$-advice?:happy :happy:

I am fine with that and luckily haven't gained any. I did have some weeks where I stayed the same though
It also depends if you just started. I know that it take a while to see the weight drop or it can drop fast then stop dropping. I would rather have the slow start than the fast start to only have it slow or even stop :noway:0 -
That is a little strange but maybe you're losing inches before actual weight first? My second week I didn't lose anything at all but I lost inches.0

Be paitient....My weight loss is very odd. I can go 2-3 weeks without losing sometimes even gain a pound or so, then Voila I have a lost 2-3 pounds. Sometimes I can consistentley lose a pound or so a week. The point is you have lost weight not gained....Be Happy! Stick wih what ever you are doing because it is working just not as fast as you wish! Before you know it you will be able to see and feel that you have lost weight! Best Wishes!0

I have a very odd scale routine...I gain some Sun-Tues(maybe Wens) Then I have a big drop Thurs/Fri...Has been that way from the time I started. I do everything the same over the weekend so can't figure that out but I do loose every week so I don't care!0

I have actually noticed more inches than pounds ... and my face looks like I've lost about 10-15 pounds (my protruding jawline is very noticable now) .. so people see my face and say "wow you look like you've lost so much" .. and its defeating to say "nah just a few pounds" .. because then they think your just being modest lol ... I should just start to lie and let them think what they want! haha0
