That is a lot of weight in a short period of time. I don't think you can do it, Not healthy anyway. The best way is slow and steady.
Just my opinion.0 -
would be happy to have lost anything by then0

I think that is too big of a drop honestly... the safest way is 1-2 pounds a week. That would be 16 pounds by your goal date.
My suggestions to get there are eating right, exercising (cardio and strength), and patience :flowerforyou:0 -
my problem is in my stomach area only i always look like i am pregnant and stomache grows during the day don't know what to do0

I agree that it may be an agressive goal. But that doesn't mean you don't go ahead and get started and work toward your final goal at a healthy pace! Get out there, get moving and I TOTALLY recommend the Jillian Michaels 30DS ... absolutely LOVE these workouts and they are tough but measurable so I find them rewarding overall.
Drink the water! It is VERY helpful in weight loss for a myriad reasons ... most importanly, it keeps you from mistaking thirst for hunger and eating when you shouldn't be. Follow the program the MFP calculator sets up for you and have fun with it! A good support network here is important also. Add friends, share progress and ask for help when you need it and you will be surprised what you can accomplish!
And finally, take measurements! Weight is only ONE small indicator of overall health and fitness. You may get discouraged if you are focusing on the scale and not the big picture where you are gaining firm lean muscle and maybe not losing a pound. Mesaurements will help you see past the weight to the real indicators of your progress!
Good luck and if you need a friend or two, well, add away!
PS someone said 30 Day Shred (and all Jillian Michaels videos) are on sale at Amazon today! Check it out! I ordered a new one myself for a few bucks off the regular price.0 -
I agree that it would be dangerous to lose such a large amount in such little time. 2 pounds a week is pretty good to me. I want to lose that belly fat too and it's going to take a long time for that to happen. It's all about consistency in diet and exercise. Never give up!0
