How to add friends on MFP

Hello there!! I do not know how to add friends on here. When I click more, friends option, it only shows who I have and to add it wants to search my contacts and fb. How do you add friends on here?!?!

    Click on the person's name and you'll see a little head-and-shoulders icon with a plus sign.
