I need help finding good snacks with low carbs. I do not care for raw veggies or fruit so need ideas on what I can eat to help lower my A1C level. Thank you in advance for any input

These are some of my favorite low-carb snacks (I'm a type 1 and keep a ton of these close by for those pesky times when I'm high and waiting to come down before having my regular meal/snack):
    • Hard boiled eggs
    • Beef/turkey jerky
    • Ham roll-ups (a slice of ham wrapped around a pickle spear and cream cheese)
    • Cheese -lots of cheese
    • Bacon
    • Nuts
    • Grilled chicken with hummus
    • Baked zucchini with parmesan

What do you like to eat now as a snack? Can you eat that still, but maybe less of it? Or maybe a lower sugar version?

I eat Jerky, cheese sticks, a slice of deli meat rolled up with a piece of cheese, cashews or nuts

    Pork rinds! Delicious pork rinds!
    Pepperoni
    Cheese
Low carb tortilla with some pesto, mozzarella cheese and any pizza toppings you like. Amazing thin crust pizza!
Melt a cheese of choice on a piece of parchment in the microwave til bubbly. Let cool. It makes "cheese chips". You can even sprinkle it with any seasoning if you want.
Pumpkin seeds for when you want something salty and crunchy.
    Low carb yogurt
85% dark chocolate (even better to shave some on top of the low carb vanilla yogurt yum!)
Salami, try it with cream cheese and a little pickle rolled up.
Keep some pre cooked bacon or breakfast sausage in the fridge.

Avocado! :-) I have at least one a day!

(This is the third time today I have answered with "avocado")....("Seems to be a pattern there, Ron")
