I exercise pretty regularly and have tons of songs on my playlist, but I always hear them and am getting really tired of them. I would love any suggestions on any new motivational songs or anything else you do to motivate yourself while exercising. I guess I could listen to things like audiobooks, but I want to keep my momentum going and I don't know if this is the best way. Any suggestions?

I listen to rock/hard rock/metal to get me pumped, so if you're open to those genres, here are some of my favorites:

Let There Be Rock - ACDC
Lift Me Up - Five Finger Death Punch
No One Gets Left Behind - Five Finger Death Punch
Wings of Feather and Wax - Killer Be Killed
Follow Me To Disappointment - Suffer Well
This Day We Fight - Megadeth
Violet Skies - In This Moment

    for running/cardio:

my fave is still Lose Yourself by Eminen...after >10 years it is still my go to when I'm wanting to quit during that run...listened to it today at the last 1/2 mile of my run [it's 5 minutes long]

my new fave is Fight Song [platten]. very encouraging.

Other good ones are Miss Independent & stronger [clarkson], Raise your glass [pink] American Girl [petty], Firework [Perry] Going the distance [cake] Get what you give [new radicals] Are you gonna go my way [Kravitz] Wonderful Night [fatboy slim] and Don't Stop Believing [journey]... great beats.

SPOTIFY app: I am obsessed with spotify. Nike Running Tempo Mix. It's the bomb for running or long cardio.
I also like Morning Commute for weight lifting.

I love audio books, and podcasts but not for my workouts.

80s soundtrack music! I agree with Holdin Out for a Hero. I have stuff like the top gun soundtrack. Pretty much all Lenny Loggins lol.

I tend to like the ladies of rock:
Halestorm: Miss the Misery, Amen, Here's to Us
In This Moment - Forever, Mechanical Love, Big Bad Wolf, The Great Divide
The Pretty Reckless - Heaven Knows, Follow Me Down
The guys if I'm in a bad mood:
Five Finger Death Punch, 30 Seconds to Mars, Avenged Sevenfold
Or if I need to dig in and focus on lyrics - get my mind off the run:
P!nk, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Beyonce

    I prefer metal for lifting and dance music for cardio. Yesterday I put Arch Enemy on shuffle until the phone service went out. Then I lifted in silence. ;_;

I agree with trying spotify! They have tons of different workout playlists. Have a few favorite styles. Fave Bollywood songs are Na Jaane, Fanaa, Batamez Dil and Party on My Mind. Kesha, Kelly clarkson, Nicky Minaj, pitbull. I also like rock so I have Ace of Spades by Motörhead, bad boy boogie by AC/DC, Iron Maiden.
