anyone suggest any good cardio routines? I'm trying to change it up a bit and don't know what to do!

    Fitness blender has videos online for free you can try..also pinterest has alot of workout ideas .hope this helps.

    hooping is good. Dancing. And the standard elliptical and stationary bike.

    HIIT can be a fun way to improve your running (or elliptical, biking, etc)
    I usually do 10 sets of 45 second high intensity - 45 second rest/low intensity (one set = 90 seconds)
    It helps improve your cardiovascular performance and is also good for your lungs.
    I don't recommend doing HIIT more than 3-4 times a week unless you can handle it.

    I started walking with a weighted vest on my usual trails and it really changed my 'boredom' (I'm at 12 pounds with the vest now) and I do a lot of ellen barrett pilates videos-she's great!
