Hello my name is Paris. I installed this app yesterday and I enjoy it. Keeps me from over eating. I'm looking for someone to talk to on here through this journey. Someone who is trying to accomplish about the sane thing i am.

Hi Paris! I'm Emmy. I'm trying to lose about 50lbs. Though I have everything necessary to accomplish my goal, I lack the motivation to use it. I began working out yesterday (again) and hopefully I have my mind on track this time. What workouts are you doing? :)

Hey Emmy and KLangI haven't been working out much yet. Just some jump roping. I'm 5'10 and weighed 220 pounds and lost 40 pounds about 2 years ago but ever since I've been between 190-175 and I think it's my diet that's keeping me in that range. I stress alot and have noticed that i eat excessively to cope with the stress. Another weak spot for me is that I love sweets! And being in a persian family, most meals contain rice and bread. I would like to be get down to 155. How had your journey been so far? Anything you learned about yourself? How are you motivated into working out? ( im lazy haha)

I'm 5'7" and 205 lbs. I went up to 240lbs while pregnant and eventually got down to my prepregnancy weight of 170 but my love for sweets and rice and bread got me to my current weight lol. My motivation is instagram lol. I follow all these fitness junkies on ig and seeing them fit and sexy and eating right gets me motivated. I've got rid of all my snacks (by eating them lol) and refuse to buy more. I plan doing zoe Rodriguez workouts and 1 hour of the elliptical daily. Like you, I realize that my diet isn't helping me. I overeat, eat when I stress eat when I'm bored, eat for no reason eat eat eat. So I trying really hard to keep healthy stuff around but healthy food is expensive!

When I lost weight before, I lost 30 lbs in 2 months! I was taking tons of vitamins, but on a fish salad water diet. I cheated everyday though lol because every morning I had a big cup of milk, but other than that I only ate fish salad and water and did a jillian michaels dvd, and the elliptical for 45 minutes daily.

The instagram thing is sooo true! I'm following all these fit people and it is motivating... But at times it starts to make me even feel worse. I can't get rid of all the junk food because my parents shop and they like junk food.. My mom bought me celery last week and i have yet to touch it.. Why couldn't tasty food be good for you??? I use to do jillian Michael's videos but quit after like 2 weeks. I also quit when i don't see quick results. After a week of hard work, i need to see some sort of change for motivation. Since yesterday, I've been eating below 1400 calories like the site suggested for me and hopefully i can get all this weight off soon. My whole family is over weight and I'm pretty sure it's the food we eat. We eat fast food once a week or less. I love snacking which is a big no-no if you are snacking like 6 times a day with 3 full meals. I was signed up for 2 months at the UFC gym and was doing kickboxing classes and that helped me lose 15 pounds without a diet change but i stopped and gained it all back+ some.

I feel like we're the same person lol. I live fast food and my son has loads of snacks, but I told him to yell mami not to eat his food; ask your parents if they can help you and keep any not perishables in their room or hide them so u won't be tempted, it's childish I guess but it's helped me. I get so embarrassed when my son catches me eating his cookies. And with the fast food, I get the salad from anywhere I go. They might not be the healthiest but they are a whole lot healthier than anything else.

Go on pinterest and find some nice meal prep menus and prep 3 days of food and snacks, that way there is ALWAYS something prepared for you to eat. I notice than when I'm hungry and there isn't something readily available I go for the oreos and chips. It gets easier with time TRUST ME. I'm in the same boat as you, and it sucks to see all these skinny women all happy and sexy lol but it gets easier after month 1.
