I changed my username and I can't see "My Profile"

I changed my username a few weeks ago. On the app, when I click "my profile" it shows my old username as a profile that I can't view. The only way I can see my profile is when I post something on my news feed then click my name. Someone help! I've already tried logging out and restarting the app.
