Just wondering if LaCroix counts as a water?

    In my opinion, yes. The point is to be hydrated, not to obsess over what gets you there. Others will disagree...

    Yep. Lots of fruits hydrate you also - just make sure to count the calories.

    The only exception to this (for me) is alcohol. My one glass of wine per day doesn't add much anyway, but I do not count any alcoholic beverages in my water. Everything else gets counted and any calories get logged. I don't count food eaten, I just accept that my water goal is a minimum so I aim for that number in liquids and any additional from food is a bonus. I also stop logging after 12 cups.

    Coffee, juice, soup... they're all mostly water. I count water as water. Anything else I log under drinks.
