Nursing Mommy

My son is just 2 months old and I am still nursing exclusively. Does anyone know how this factors into my daily calories or exercise? I've heard that it burns 500 calories, but if that were true, I'd be at my goal weight by now. He eats 4-5 times a day (already sleeps through the night, 12 hours!). Thanks!

I have been exclusively breast feeding for the past 8 months! You can actually add breastfeeding under food and it gives you an extra 500 calories. I usually eat about 300 of those. You dont want to eat too few calories or you wont lose any weight. Good luck mama and congrats!0
