Lose 8lbs in 90 days. Need help with a vegetarian diet and motivation

Hello! I'm desperately seeking friends to keep motivated for my goal: lose 8lbs for my sisters wedding in Nov. I work out a ton and eat a vegetarian diet and can't lose my beer belly to save my life. I consider it my floaty. I like to box, run occasionally and just started doing yoga. But I know it's all about the diet. I've heard, "abs are made in the kitchen" more times than I'd like. I'm an addict for cheese and alcohol and hate salad. I sort of know what I have to do...but don't want to do it.

Honestly 8 pounds in 3 months seems like a very realistic goal, do you eat vegetarian because you are vegetarian (sorry the redundancy) or you are eating vegetarian as part of your diet to lose weight? I read many times (here and everywhere) that you cannot lose localized fat, so if you lose weight overall, you should also lose belly fat. Maybe you need to try to do abs to tone your abs out?
