Foods for injury recovery? And how important is fat?

Hi there I was hoping to get some insight into whether I should change my diet in any way to facilitate injury recovery - I have several injuries (back injury, broken toe, tendinitis in my forearms), and they're taking ages to heal.
Are there any dietary changes that would help aid recovery?
Also, I have little fat in my diet (I usually achieve only about a third of my goal amount), simply because I eat a lot of carbs but still have a calorie deficit - is this something which could make a difference?

Make sure you're getting most of your food from micro nutrient dense sources. I'd take a quality multi vitamin too just to be sure.
For fats, it depends on what your goal is set to. Fats help certain nutrients absorb, so it's important to get enough. Also, consider taking a quality omega 3 supplement. Make sure it's about 1500mg of omega 3 in triglyceride form.0 -

My goal is 60g (I eat 1800 calories), but I usually ge between 20g and 30g.
