Fitbit and MFP do not match

I have the same goals and everything in both and they are linked so my steps are counted in MFP also. Just looked at both apps and fitbit says I have 650 calories left to eat today while MFP says I have 1150. Does anyone know why that is? Does MFP go by predicted calories that I will burn or something?

Do you have MFP set to "sedentary"?

If not, it's assuming some level of calorie burn from daily activity that's then getting double-counted by your FitBit steps.

Fitbit prorates your calories by time of day—and goes below 1,200. Ignore it & follow your MFP calorie goal, eating back your adjustments.

Oh okay, thanks. I'll look at the users group. Didn't know that existed! :)
