When I worked at the hospital from 2000- 2004 I made wonderful friends. Every morning I would send them some type of inspiration, motivational saying. It was just a nice way to get our mornings started and throughout the day we would email each other back and forth on that saying of what it meant to us.. I figured I would see how that went here. So here it goes.......

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

~Mark Twain~

This quote is perfect!!! In the past year I've come to realize exactly as it says and am trying each and every day to let go of the small stuff and do what I want to do. Money isn't everything and my own happiness and success will more than make up for it. Seeing this saying just further imprints the idea of choosing with my heart and not always my mind!

it is time to live a little!
  • I liked that quote as soon as I saw it today. It's got a lot of truth to it. If I don't live today, and do what I want to do, which is lose weight and get healthy - I won't be here in 20 years to even have that choice to regret not doing it today. :-)
