Exercise bike cadence ?!!?

1.what cadence or rpm should I keep on the exercise bike to lose weight (burn like 500+ cal)???
2. Do u recommend a bike or a treadmill for ideal weight loss?

I'm 18, 202 pounds and 6'1

    You haven't read the stickies... and I heavily advise you do.

    Creating a caloric deficit by eating is easier than doing it by exercise... otherwise if you miss a day of exercise... you miss a caloric deficit.

    Create a caloric deficit by eating less. Exercise is for fitness. Eat back 50-75% of your exercise calories.

    1) It depends upon how long you're on the bike for and resistance/level you're riding at.

    2) Either. Weight loss is about burning more Calories than you consume. Whichever one you want to do - or any combination of both, or neither, if you don't want - is fine.

    What about 45 minutes on the bike...what rpm?
