so I do quiet a bit of walking each day,
12000-15000 steps and the app adds on from 400-600 extra calories for me to hit my goals,

I have been doing so and lately even going over by up to 200cals , so essentially I'm going over maintenance by around 1000 calories if not a tad more,
I have been putting slow steady weight on around 1lb a week average,
some weeks 0lbs some weeks 2-3lbs,

So I know I'm not putting on a crazy amount of fat however I was just curious if other people eat their extra calories allocated?

By the way, when I have tried clean bulking in the past I was unsuccessful using pen and paper to track my cals, this app seems to have helped so much!

Enable negative calorie adjustments in your diary settings: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

Eat back your adjustments for two weeks, then reevaluate your progress. I eat back 100% of my Fitbit adjustments, lost the weight, and have kept it off for more than a year.

When using MFP you need to eat back exercise calories regardless of your goal.
By exercising you burn calories, and to nOt get in a defecit you need to eat them back.
