Do the lbs make a much bigger difference body wise closer to goal?

Im 6ft 3 male, currently 12st 7lbs. I still have a lot of fat around my abdomen and my bum is still fat. The fat scales say i have 2st 8lbs of fat on my body, and i'm 20.9% body fat.
When i look at my friends 1 is like a rake and he's 11stone and only 5ft 11. So since I'm only 1.5 stone heavier than him but a few inchs taller i keep thinking 11stone will be to low for me, but at the same time surely i will need more than 1 stone to lose the fat i still have on me. Does say a 2lb loss closer to goal make a bigger difference body looks wise? When i was 18 stone losing half a stone did not seem to make much difference.

I'm 6'9" 15.8 stone and I literally cannot tell an iota of difference in how I look when my weight varies by multiple (4-6) pounds.0

The last few pounds are a larger percentage of your body weight so they are harder to lose and I think they make a bigger difference. Lots of unexpected things change... Back fat and any tissue that hung out under arms or below bra strap go away.0

The smaller you get the more it comes into play.
For example me...taller than average woman at 5 ft 7...but at 153lbs I wear a size 6...148lbs size 4...5lbs difference that's it but it means one size.0 -
