Hello everyone! A few years back, I joined MFP and lost close to 60 pounds. I was getting healthy, I was running 5k races, and then...I broke my hip. I fell into a depression because I could no longer move, and I began to eat my stress away. A week ago, I stepped on the scale and once again, found my focus. I have returned to MFP in the hopes that there are other people out there who had similar stories, and that we could perhaps motivate one another. I do need to loose weight, but what I really want to do is to be able to move, and dance, and run like I used to.

Welcome back. first of all hope your hip has recovered
. Don't give up! Small goals at first and before you know it you will be running races again.
