I'm really confused, should I be eating more calories according to being under net calories, or less to be under my total calorie goal?

you ate a bit more than your total calories intake goal, but didn't eat anything like enough to compensate for the exercise you logged hence your net calories are low.

Thanks for the reply, so should I eat more and make up those exercise calories? Just don't want to gain any weight haha

Within reason, the idea of logging the exercise is to keep the same loss rate whether you exercise or not. If you eat all of the logged calories and the estimates are a bit high you'll reduce your loss rate, so some people opt to eat half of the extra calories, or 2/3 etc etc as a precaution.

Well I'm training for a half marathon so I run quite a lot and have a running watch and that says that I usually burn between 3-700 calories a run. I also do spinning and weight training but I just use mfp calculations even though I know they aren't too accurate.

The estimate my running watch gives me tends to be a bit higher than what my Fitbit reports for the same amount of time and distance. Eating back my entire adjustment from my Fitbit was spot on for when I was losing weight, so I trust that estimate 100%.

If you're going to eat back all the calories, just keep an eye on your weight and see if you need to eat back fewer. Good luck with your training!

Eat back half the exercise calories and you should be pretty safe.
