What about us morbidly obese? it is very difficult to exercise a lot and eat the right kind of foods. I can say
I will try my best to keep to a food regimen but I am limited to what they serve here.
Does anybody else have this problem?

I have family members who have stayed in assisted living homes as well as work in one. I would suggest talking to the dietitian and asking for specific foods that you can eat. Also, you should talk to him/her about your goals and they might be able to work out a food plan for you.
Also, you might get in touch with a physical therapist in your facility. They might be able to assist you in creating a fitness routine that you can do in your room, or in a chair etc... :-D0 -
talk to the dietcian let he/she know you want to lose weight and maybe they can modify your diet to help you. As far as the exercise goes walk if you can and any little bit of walking will help, as you lose you can do more. You have to start somewere. Good luck.0

I am very particular about what I eat. How can I be sure that a community will provide consistently good food?
