Hi,
I'm a south indian .We will have regularly idlis, dosas as our breakfasts. At my in laws place, every day breakfast would be served with groundnut chutney (not sure how healthy is this) .

Recently ,i have delivered a baby girl .In pregency and feeding ,i have gained almost 5 kgs ,i'm 147cms and weighing almost 59.3kgs.

I want to loose weight(still on feeding and baby is now 5 months) .Recently ,i have started eating Museli,Ragi Flakes and other cereals .Sometimes i'm also trying to take Whole wheat bread/multi grain bread with peanut butter instead of regular dosa's and idlis .

Can some one please let me know what type of breakfast is best and why .Can we have ground nut chutney daily is it healthy

At dinners ,i have started taking brown rice/quinoa. Does these options really help me in loosing weight .Please guide me

Thanks

There's no right or wrong breakfast, or any other meal - just what fits your calories for the day and satisfies you.

My goodness I want your food!

What others said, eat what you love, just keep it under your kcal goal. Dang now I want a potato dosa with nut chutney!

Try out the recipient builder if the food is home cooked. I will say that nuts hide LOTS of kcal so be careful with those, but there is nothing bad about the food you are eating!

It does not matter. You need to focus on calories for weight loss, what you eat for which meal is not relevant.

MFP lets you add/remove meals as well, so you can fit them to your local customs.
