To much protein??

Options
I injured my knee a while ago but I can now get back on the wagon slowly.
I have always had a problem eating a lot of protein, I always go over what is says or what trainers tell me to eat. I don't know how, it's not always with meat. I love healthy fats and protein based foods. How do I kick the craving for them and what will happen if I keep eating large amounts????

How much do you think is too much protein?

It's pretty damn hard to get too much protein...

104g isn't that much really... unless you're constantly hitting 300g+ everyday... then I'd be a bit worried.

Of your calories? I'd say that's too much only to the extent that you're not getting enough carbs and fat.

104G Protein doesn't seem like a lot to me.

At 50% protein, are you doing a low carb/ high protein diet or is that the number MFP auto gave you?

Many people view their protein goals as a minimum. Unless you have kidney issues or some other medical condition, I don't foresee 104G protein a real issue.

I keep my protein at 175 grams a day with a fairly easy and delicious diet. I was told I could only utilize about 150 grams who the hell knows I eat the same stuff every week and it is what it is.. My carbs are typically under 100 grams and my fat around 75 grams. I do have bad days where my fats and carbs are higher but my protein is really good 150 -200 which I can't believe is unhealthy..
