Changing the message in my head.

Options
I find myself telling myself that "one slip up won't matter" or "this won't show up on the scale". These messages happen mainly in the evening. I am looking for messages to counter this destructive self talk and trying to frame them in the positive.
So far I have, "Don't ruin all the hard work you did today" but that is a negative.
What messages help you stay on track at night?
I am counting calories with MFP so it is obvious to me when I am going over.

well, my mother's negative tapes from my childhood still pop up somewhat regularly and they still have an effect on me and my self-esteem. but i am able to counter it most of the time with "i am making changes i can live with."

If that's a negative then "Preserve the hard work you did today" is a positive, right?

"Is this food worth being fat again?" works pretty well for me.

    "Am I bored?"
    "Am I sleepy?"
"Would hot tea be nice right now?"
"Does this snack fit my long-term goals?"
"Am I feeding an emotional need right now?"
"Is this the best option right now if I'm truly hungry?"
"Will this nourish my body and mind?"
"How many calories do I have left?"
"Have I had enough protein today?"
"Have I had enough fiber today?"
