What's the difference between "light" and "vigorous" effort

I'm not sure ever how to classify what I'm doing.

What sorts of chores would you put into each?

    vigorous would prolly involve sweating

    I'm more concerned with if something like folding laundry or cleaning dishes...light chores, would even burn enough calories to qualify.

    use your best judgement anything burns calories but I dont justify doing daily things that arent really exercise into my log i figure them as a bonus come scale time if you really want to know how much your burning get a HRM

    Yeah, I suppose you're right, but sometimes there are days where these are the only things I get to use as workout, and I do things for more than an hour or 2.

    the only time i put vigorous is when im mopping or washing windows (im 4'11)

    or if afterwards im like PHEW

    but anything like dishes or sweeping i classify as light
