I have been having trouble losing weight lately and noticed my sodium has been way over everyday. Could that be a factor in my inability to lose weight lately? I know sodium makes you bloated and holds in water, but can it make it difficult to drop pounds??

Definitely. You will retain water so the scale will reflect that even if you lose fat. I'm having the same trouble some days.
  • drink lotsof water and try to lower it. I'm not very good at it because I take frozen meals to work. Most of the time it's that or starve so I just try to drink extra water.

Yes. Part of the issue is that if you're going over on sodium, you are most likely eating a whole lot of processed foods. The nutrient value of those foods is limited and can slow your weight loss. This seems to be more of an issue if you have fewer pounds to lose. When I first started losing weight (44 pounds ago) my sodium intake wasn't a problem. Now it's something I have to watch closely if I don't want to gain weight.
