I'm having a hard time trying to find calories in the amount of veggies that Subway puts in there sandwiches. Is that important to logg them ? Does anybody know around how many calories there veggies have?

Thanks

I really don't. The more simple we keep things, the better off we'll be.

If you're concerned, I'd just enter a 1.1 where it asks how many servings. 1.1 for a subway 6-inch veggie, for example, would be adding 23 calories to the total, which is close enough.

i just figure the calories out on the subway website and then create a meal using the information from the website.

You can actually go to Subway's website and they have everything broken down in the nutrtion info section! Very handy chart!

It doesn't matter too much unless you're adding olives or banana peppers. Those two are higher in calories and can add up quickly. :-)
  • Here is the link to the nutrition info of toppings. I wouldn't worry too much about the veggies but if you are adding things like olives, pickles, hot peppers the sodium adds up.

if you look at the fine print on the subway nutrition panel, you will see that all veggies are included in the cal count except pickles, olives and banana peppers.. so unless you get extra, or get pickles or banana peppers, you don't need to count it. and with the pickles, olives and banana peppers, those are more about the sodium they contain then the calories, cause they don't have much in the way of cals, but are high in sodium.
