Lost weight but not inches

This is just a rant. I've been trying to lose weight for a month now, and this morning was down 9 lbs. I'm very happy about that. When I measured though, my bust is the same, waist is down 1/2 inch, and hips are the same. Arg! Am I just losing weight from my limbs? That's annoying.

You'll lose it from all over so take more measurements. I take, bust, chest (where your bra band would be), waist, hips, arms, thighs, neck and calves. I've lost more in my legs and waist, but tummy doesn't want to budge. You'll start lose from your hips, etc., but unfortunately, we have no control over what goes first. Stay with it, you're doing great!! I know it is frustrating!! Grrrr!!

Thank genetics for where you lose first. But you lose weight fat from all over your body to include, legs, butt, chest, abdomen, arms, hands, feet, ankles, calves, etc..

    So give it time.

I agree with this.....AND it's only been a month! Take a deep breath and keep going. Seriously.

Plus a lot of your fat is around your organs, not just that surface layer that we all hate.

Hang in there, it gets better. Soon you'll be like me and losing inches but not losing weight! Weight loss isn't linear, but trust in yourself that positive things are happening.

That is the good fat to lose. Visceral fat.

Thanks everyone. I know it hasn't been very long, so I'll just wait it out. Hopefully in another month I'll actually be able to see a difference somewhere!
