Hello.. Long stort, i am a girl who's currently 5'10 and 175lbs. My weight has fluctuated my whole life, from really thin to a bit heavy. I've never been too large, but where I'm at now I was advised by my doctor to lose a bit of weight, as it has affected my energy and mood. My thing is, I emotionally eat and I love love love dessert. I don't want to fluctuate like this anymore. Do you have any advice for me to not always be trying to hard core diet, and still feel like I can maintain a good weight? I think I need a bit of encouragement. Thanks

    1) log all you eat and confront it
    2) deal with the emotions that are making you want to eat

I struggle with this too. I am either abstaining from all sugars or gorging on them. A balance would be nice. I hope someone has some tips!

Emotions derail me every time! I have started to record what sets me off so maybe I can recognize some key triggers and find a new way to process them.

I do the same thing as well. I'm trying to change my emotional eating. When I feel the urge I go read or I clean. Try something different when you get the urge. Easier said then done. But with time it gets better
