After many months on I.V and oral corticosteroids; from being in the hospital for stage 4 COPD, afib, pneumonia, and both flu's at the same time. I gained 65 pounds on all the drugs and a ravenous appetite. I am now in Pulmonary Rehab 2 times a week, in Chronic Illness Group, and as of yesterday, have gone on one of the scariest drugs I can imagine__ an anti arrhythmia drug that scares me to no end. But , I know my heart can't keep sustaining me with the all over the place rhythms. I'm a young 58, that practiced yoga for years. I am trying to put little things back into my daily life. I am at the moment, finally off steroids. Wish Me Luck.

Hi Jenny, wishing you good luck, happiness and improved health. What a journey you've been through! I find it inspirational to hear your story and pick up on the courage it must take to tell it. This is my second go at MyFitnessPal, and hope to reach some goals by "mindful eating" and counting the calories. I tried yoga for a time, but now just meditate and enjoy walking0
