How do I edit my Food Diary? Is this possible?

I bought a pre-packaged kale salad for lunch that included the nutritional information on the label. When I was filling out my Food Diary, I thought chose the option that best represented what I had in my hand. But the nutritional content for both items are very different! Way off!

Can I edit this by hand? Is there a better way of choosing foods in the future?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
