Hi!

I am going on holiday to Bali next week for 2 weeks. As much as I plan on enjoying myself, I still want to keep fit and burn off a few of the extra calories I know I will be eating. Can anyone recommend any strength training/cardio workouts I can easily fit into my holiday?

Thanks in advance!

Swimming! Lots and lots of swimming and walking. Plus Bali has an amazing Yoga scene so pop into a class if you get a chance! But also remember you're on holiday and most likely deserve some rest! Have a happy holiday! :-)

I likethe above advice, especially the swimming, also have a look at nerdfitness.com. There is a great body work programme that travels well. I jot it down and take it in cruises with me. Even if I don't do 3 sets 3 times a week it reminds my body of what it is coming home to.

    Relax and enjoy.

    Cheers, h.

Ps there was another travel thread today, can't remember where, see if you can find it and have a read through it too.

We are taking some resistance bands on our holiday & will be continuing to do short runs when the Sun is down incorporating some Tabata still workouts!

I'd probably focus on cardio, like running. Quick, cal burn that travels well. Not strength training for a couple weeks won't set you back much and burning off the calories you eat (as much as is possible) is likely going to be of more importance.
I'd rather take 2 weeks to get my strength training back up to par after a vacation than gain 5 pounds and spend 4-5 weeks trying to lose it.
However if you have time and want to strength train as well then that's just the cherry on top!
