Hi all - I sprained my ankle two Fridays ago and haven't been to OrangeTheory/gym since. I'm dying to go back as I feel like I'v been sitting on my butt this whole time. Overall, movement of my ankle is better, but it's definitely not 100%. It hurts, but nothing like it had before. Think it's okay to ease back into it? Probably not jogging on the treads but maybe the bike?

What did the doctor say? Two weeks seems like enough time, but I would go with their advice over randoms on the internet.

And from experience, you would be amazed at how much you use the bones in your foot and ankle while doing stuff like stationary rowing or biking.

Your ankle is but one small part of the body. You could have been doing a lot of upper body excersises. There are also leg exercises with machines that you could have probably done. These are not cardio but good strength training, just a thought,it's able that's sore so you feel your limits

I would see a physical therapist and do what they say.

What about swimming? Or something low impact like that. Your ankle will feel funny for weeks but you can probably work out on it (carefully) by now. It takes a long time...
