I assume you have your fitbit linked to the account? In which case, it isn't logging calories burned, it's showing you how many extra calories you got from exercise/activity level. I have my activity level set to lightly active, i get 1510 calories to lose a pound per week, but on days i work, fitbit gives me an additional calorie intake of about 400. That's not a calorie burn like typical exercise (say, run a mile) but is based off TDEE.
There is a fitbit group on here that has lots of good advice, and you can also read about fitbit giving you more calories if you click on your calories added by fitbit, then hit the option that says "how does fitbit calculate calories added?"0 -
Oh wow thanks for all the helpful advice! How do I find the Fitbit group??0

There is an issue the last few days with fitbit not syncing with MFP. I walked almost 9K steps today, but gave me only 20 calories. It is normally 300 or more for a work day. MFP is working on fixing the problem.0

You can go to the forums homepage and search for the fitbit group in the groups section.
I do know fitbit gets glitchy sometimes...mine has been all right lately, though.
The calories added depend greatly on what activity level you have set on here. Some people recommend setting your level on here as sedentary and enabling negative calorie adjustments, then eating all the fitbit calories back. That's using TDEE method. I do things a little differently, but it still works, lol0 -
Where are you seeing 90 calories burned?
Also, what activity level do you have MFP set to and have you enabled negative adjustments?

Click on the adjustment in your diary to see the math, but you've burned 90 calories more than your MFP activity level (sedentary, lightly active, etc.).
You can learn more in the Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users0 -
