any suggestions on easy calorie count apps, sites or whatever. I drink smoothies and other such multi ingredient items. It seems so cumbersome to calculate without a good source. I am new to fitness pal.

Use the recipe maker. Click the Food tab at the top, then Recipes under that. You enter the recipe once and then you can just log the entire recipe after that.0

MFP is probably the best one in spite of all the bugs/issues going on. It has a huge database and recipe builder that make things very easy.0

You can download the MFP app and use that. Has everything you need to keep track of your calories and Macros. Even has a scanner that you can use to save you time on adding items up on your own.0

To verify the nutrition information found in the MFP Food Database, I generally use the USDA National Nutrient Database and SelfNutritonData at...
ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search
nutritiondata.self.com/0 -
I use calorieking.com

It seems like MyFitnessPal works well for thousands of people.0

Actually I notice that many, many of the counts are way off. It has me concerned. I like FP but find I have to double check calories in items and then manipulate to get the right number.0

Most free calorie counting databases are going to require checking for accuracy, since they're based on user inputs.0 -

Many are off but after you get used to the database, it becomes easier and quicker to find what you need. It still is way better than any other databases I've used.0
