Belly fat!!!!!

Alright so I'm definently an apple shape, I hate it but I'm learning to embrace it. My biggest issue with my jody is my stomach. I am 5'1 and 155 lbs. I started at 198.8 lbs. Loosing 43 lbs I would think my stomach would have shrunk significantly. I know obviously it has gotten smaller but it is always out of proportion with the rest of my body. I know you can't spot train however I'm looking for suggestions on how to improve this area. With 25 lbs to goal I'm nervous that I'll still have a fairly big stomach. Are there any ladies my height and 130 lbs with pictures you could share? Any advice , pictures , or anything else would be appreciated.

Well I'm not your height. But am close to your weight 135.
Anyway, I'd suggest starting a strength training program asap! Google strong lifts or new rules of lifting0 -
So you know you can spot reduce, so you ask a question about spot reducing? When you lose more weight, some of it will come from your stomach. I'm 5'1" also and I lost my belly along with the rest of the weight.0

I am open to suggestions, maybe something to reduce bloating. Mostly looking to see what people my height weight and shape look like or what weight their stomach flattened out. Not looking to be attacked.0 -
Like sherry mentioned, as you get down closer to goal and reduce your body fat percentage, you will see changes. We all have areas that we wish we could change . beginning a strength training program will be important, you'll thank yourself later !0

I always feel so lost in the weight room, I will have to look up some more info and give it a shot. I was exercising heavily in the beginning and missed a work out that turned into never working out agajn. Especially when I still lost weight. Anyway I will give it a shot I know body recomp can do alot. Thanks !0 -
Please do look into it. We all felt like that at first. That's why a structured program works so well , it guides along. I used to feel the same way. Now I can lift heavier then the boys !!0

Hey, I'm a guy and I'm at a healthy weight for my height but I still have some belly fat. It is different for each person and there's really nothing you can do to lose besides lose more weight. In my case my last couple of pounds which are the hardest end up being the belly fat. I wouldn't do much ab workouts either because in the end that'll just make your belly region look even thicker. All I can tell you is keep your head up and the weight off.0

I was having a problem with bloating, too. Drinking TONS of water a day will help. Don't really drink anything else. If you're eating lots of salt in your diet it can make you bloat, as well. Drink lots of water, have lots of fiber, eat GREEK (has healthy bacteria for digestive tract) yogurt (one with less than 10g of sugar), and perhaps take a pill that gives you the healthy bacteria. These things definitely helped me! I'm currently on a gluten free diet and my bloating is going away.0

When you say apple shape all I can think is that you must have great legs! Emphasize them in the meantime. And congratulations on losing 43 pounds. That is absolutely fantastic!0
