Change your goal to 1 pound a week.0

I make 400 calorie meals which allows for light snacking. tho i never have the feeling of being hungry, i also never have that feeling of being full... trying to retrain my brain that i do not need to be stuffed. I eat cereal all the time! it always depends on the type you eat but i love the kashi toasted berry. it has a bit of sweetness.... also try to use almond milk it has less calories than regular milk. and lastly I hope you weigh the cereal! you can always add some blueberries to it if you feel the serving size is to tiny. they are pretty light on the calories0

^This. Set your goal to .5 lb. for every 25 lbs. you're overweight. Eating at too aggressive a deficit often causes bingeing—and it won't get you to goal any more quickly.
Your Fitbit burn is TDEE (total daily energy expenditure), the calories necessary to maintain your current weight. If you eat at a reasonable deficit from that, you will lose weight.

Make something filling, but lower cal. Chili, soup, stew, vegetable noodle or vegetable rice based, stir fry, egg/veg, etc. I often have 100-200 calorie meals that are huge and really delicious.0

I don't know what's happening with yours, but when that happens to me, it's because I overdid the carbs.
For instance, yesterday was my birthday celebration and I hit (conservatively) 84g of carbs. Really, I think it was closer to 100, but I have no way to quantify one of the things I ingested and since it was literally once a year, I don't care. While 84-100g is low for the overwhelming majority of people, that's 3-5x what I normally have. I woke this morning absolutely ravenous although I ate plenty of food yesterday. I went over on calories and carbs. The calories? Eh, I could bank those. The carbs? Yeah, too many for me and they caused me to feel hungry last evening, in the middle of the night, and most of today. After a day of normal carbs, my hungry has just about passed.
I'm not saying overdoing carbs is what happened to you. The advice from others that your weight loss goal may be too high or you're just not eating enough may be right on target. However, the possibility does exist that you "over carb'd" yourself yesterday or in the last couple of days and your body is hating you today. Even if carbs have never been an issue before, it may have become an issue for you now.

It would help to know your stats and see your diary. Best guess, you are restricting way too much and planning your means and food choices badly. Also are you exercising? How much? And do you eat back any of those calories? Being in too much of a hurry t loose weight can be very self defeating.0

It's okay to be hungry when you're dieting, especially if consume high-calorie foods.
But you needn't go hungry. You can eat a boatload of fruits and veggies for very few calories. You'll stay very full on fruits and veggies!
If you need your goal readjusted to get more calories, do that. If not, try eating more low-calorie food to avoid hunger.0 -
I end up eating lentils when I've overdone it before starting to enter my food. High protein, high fiber and very low fat for a legume. I like spinach, also, for those days. Before I became vegan, I went for Greek yogurt and banana. It's not the end of the world if you go over a bit.
I do have occasional days where I just let my stomach stay empty and drink a bit in the evening (AT HOME). I end up feeling cheery, and don't much notice hunger.0 -
thanks all
I'm feeling better today. I might have over-carbed or something. I've been doing my 10 k and zumba. i'm moving but need to work on food adjustments. much appreciated0
