I use ground beef probably at least 2 times a week. I either make burgers which are grilled. I am wondering are there any other ideas or recipes to make lunch or dinner with ground beef rather than just burgers.

Cottage pie, meatball stew, bolognaise, sailsbury steak, tacos, chili, swedish meatballs...
Beef burritos with sour cream and cheddar cheese.
IF you are trying to gain weight.

I had beef burritos the other night. Came in under my 1500 calorie goal for the day.

Taco salad! I eat the crap out of some taco salad though I usually prefer shrimp, turkey, or top blade for a fajita salad.

I second that. I would spice the beef with a dash of olive oil, salt, pepper (try it raw to see if it tastes good but remember it will be saltier after you cook it), perhaps paprika, mix it well. I usually steam or slow cook the cabbage taking off leafs as they soften up and trim the heavy stem on the leaf to make it more pliable. Cook slowly or bake covered. All this writing is making me hungry.

It's funny, because I sometimes eat beef burritos (or some other Tex-Mex, ground beef, tortilla combo) with sour cream and cheese within my calorie and macro goals and I'm actually losing weight. It's funny how that happens when you're eating at a deficit...

    All of this.

I also make a pretty good taco soup and a vegetable/beef soup with ground beef.

Also, cheeseburger casserole. I also make these little barbecue cornbread cups in muffin tins with ground beef. Top them with sour cream and cheese (heh) and scallions. They are very tasty.

Depending on how many calories you need, you can make pizza without the crust.

My mother made a fabulous shepherd's pie with ground beef as the 'crust' and mixed vegetables as the filling. Mashed potatoes was the topping and she baked it to make it a little crusty. yum!

    Stuffed peppers, meatloaf

Sometimes I fry up a pound of beef w onions & garlic and use it in different dishes over a couple of days.

I did this recently - mixed it with sauteed zucchini and peppers, and some leftover potatoes, and topped it with Greek yogurt. It's kind of like stovetop moussaka (except w beef instead of lamb, and zucchini instead of eggplant). So good. You could add mint or cumin for taste, I'm ok w it basically just salted.

    Oh also moussaka

You could do it w like a stroganoff sauce too

I just throw in a pan, cook it and then add 6 eggs scrambled and cook till the eggs are done. Then eat it with ketchup.

This would be good with sriracha instead of ketchup.... and maybe some cheese. I've got some onion and garlic gouda that would be fabulous with it.

I cook up a massive pot of mince with chopped up veg (carrot, zucchinni, mushrooms, whatever), chilli, tinned tomatoes a splash of wine and lots of herbs. Then I use it for all sorts of things from pasta sauce, to meat with rice, to pies, to meat on bread, tacos, nachos, (just add more chilli and some beans for those last 2)... lasagne - diet version with no bechamel and wholemeal pasta sheets. very versatile!
