50 year old newbie, going through divorce, last child heading off to college, please don't mention empty nest because I have no nest. Looking forward to losing 240 pounds. That would be the wasband. Come on divorce!

    Welcome and good luck with your goal. I'm recently 50, 56 pounds down which is half way to my goal. Go for it!!!

    Hello ladies. So glad to find some ladies my age. 57 and have tried to lose weight all my life. Up and down. Never comfortable in my own body. I would love to lose 40lbs, and love to make new friends also.
