Don't have reception? Is this the 90s?
Were you in the middle of no where? I can't remember the last time I lost reception for more than a very short time.0 -
YES. you obviously have no idea where i live or where i was. ............yeah.0
-
just because i have blue hair does not mean i am the norm for my area :P
ETA this cat growing from me is also not the norm. i am the freak of my entire 100-mile radius.0 -
i guess i should be glad that i completely successfully derailed this thread, to a level of none other. lol. since i can't sleep and i have to be at work in 8 hours and have resorted to listening to mazzy star.... *sigh*0

i should probably get off the forums now. but nah, i'll listen to the entire Crow soundtrack on youtube, post random pictures of my cats, then go to work.
drunk. where i can yell at people who actually have the nerve to complain that mcdonald's is making the US fat, even though these people are the ones who bring their 8 year old kids there to eat.
uh, i need a new job.0 -

Is reception in the U.S. Bad compared to Australia? That seems odd to me. You would think it would be the other way round.0 -

Yeah, you'd think so. I think it might have something to do with all the competing telcos. We also spend a lot more on infrastructure than the US does.0 -

It also depends who you're with.. I'm with Vodafone and lose reception earlier than my hubby who's with Optus. Telstra seems to be the go to for good reception pretty much everywhere.

So on TV and movies when they lose reception it might not be to create suspense or push the story along it might be a realistic depiction of what would happen if chased by a crazed murderer on some country road.0 -

Yeah, I used to have to travel regionally a lot for work, and I had to be with Telstra. My brother still spends a lot of time in the middle of nowhere and Telstra is his only option.Alatariel75 wrote: »Alatariel75 wrote: »

Do you think the cat sticking out of your arm may interfere with the signal?0 -

This is Mickey. He's embarrassed. He almost exclusively eats food that comes out of bags (and never uses a scale).
haha Mickey will not be accepted into the MFP "in crowd" then

Yeah my dogs are hopeless, they keep complaining about their weight but never take my advice, they keep measuring their food with a measuring cup instead of weighing it.0

So have the forum mods taken the day off?
Or is it ok cause we're not at each other's throat?
... Yet0 -
My cats refuse to eat clean. They have de toxinz.0

I know...it's a daily battle with my dog. I've explained CICO to him so many times but apparently he just doesn't want to take care of his body. And he doesn't even lift. It makes me doubt if he actually takes his weight loss goals seriously.0

He doesn't look embarrassed...he looks like he's giving you the treat eyes! He's so cute!
Haha thanks. His treat face and shame face are pretty much the same. He gets a lot of mileage out of that one look.0 -

I agree. The bar code scanner is the feature that initially got me interested i MFP. Later I got into the support-system and kind of forgot about the scanner. I eat mostly homecooked stuff. Not that I have bad feelings about precooked and storebought stuff. I just love to Cook and like my own food better ;-)))
By the way: Your pets are all cute. Do they have bar codes? How did they make their way into this thread? ;-)0 -

no, if anything, he improves the signal.
i mean, more arms = more signal, right?0 -
I love everyone's dogs!! Soooo cute0

My brother's the same. His phone bills are extortionist. Telstra are such a rip-off. I used to have their mobile broadband and that was a REAL rip-off! 15GB for $110 a month; WHAT WAS I THINKING?0 -

Yeah I'm thinking of moving to Optus when my contract is up, except Telstra give me $11 movies at all Village Cinemas, and because we go regularly, when you take into account the $18 saving each time we go, my bills are actually OK..0
