Hello,

After hitting 250lbs on the scale and sick of looking at myself in the mirror, I got this app and decided it was time to admit that I need both diet and exercise. I set a goal of -75lbs.
For years I could just exercise, be active, and that would be enough, not anymore. I need to hold myself accountable for my portion size and some of the things I eat.
I'm a month into logging my food and exercise into this app and as of this morning I'm 230lbs. -20lbs in not quite 5 weeks. My official weigh in for this week is Saturday morning.
I'm not an exercise junkie. I enjoy doing things but working out is not one of them. I find that I have to hold myself accountable and put in the effort. I'm not that high on dieting either. Love baby back ribs

Congratulations on the 20 lbs in 5 weeks! That's amazing!
And you can eat your ribs if you just measure and count the calories.

Ty, ribs are still on my menu, just the half-rack instead of a full rack.

My post must have been a little long, but I want to wish everyone well in their efforts.

You have done amazingly well dennis and good on you for making the lifestyle change. We all have foods that we love. I have a thing about roast pork dinners with crackling of course and cake I love love looooooooove my cake! especially red velvet, but for health reasons I have to cut down. Still have my food luxuries, just not every day and learning moderation with mindful eating if you'd like to take a look:

I love snack cakes! The difference now is that I'm holding myself accountable and am not giving into the urge to eat more than I should.

    Ty for the kind comments
