I'm Steven, I've been trying to tone up a bit since the beginning of January and it's hard with a family that rarely has food other than fattening food. I just started and wondered if anyone can help me with tips and tricks with dieting and weight lifting.

Hi
It's going to be hard, but if you cook I suggest you find a meal they like, and re-vamp it to healthy and the taste may help get them started0 -
Hey, Steven. If you're trying to build muscle then you want a protein packed diet, so lots off meats, eggs, nuts (be careful with these because they are also high in fat), less bad fat (sweets, sugars, etc), and a normal amount of carbs (they give you energy). Make sure that you're checking portion sizes on things you eat. I think that is the biggest change people need to make is portion size, but that's just what I know off the top of my head. Good Luck!0
