My name is Sherry . Looking for support from those that eat the Paleo way . I am trying to do both Fitness Pal but eating the Paleo Diet guideline (Health Issues )

    ignore the crap about sat fats, it's been debunked but of course our government in its infinite wisdom is not in a hurry to fess up.

    Sherry, if your looking for support, try reading or listening to (podcasts) of Robb Wolf, Loren Cordain, and Chris Kresser. Tons of good stuff there.

    Careful with eating too much saturated fats.
    Try to limit them to 10% or less than your daily caloric intake.
    Doctors will usually put their patients on the Mayo diet or similar.
    Talk to your doctor.

    There's nothing wrong with saturated fats.

    Feel free to add me as a friend, I am not paleo. But I eat whole foods (from the source), and lots of fruits and veggies.

    Too much of anything can be bad. But I have high sat fats and my cholesterol keeps on dropping due to weight loss and becoming more fit. People on Keto or LCHF have very high sat fat numbers and see the same thing. The more research coming out is suggesting sat fat isn't as bad as once thought.

    In the grand scheme of things, being over weight and genetics are the bigger issues.
