calorie counting or 21 day fix containers? I am on the 21 day fix work out and really don't want to spend 27$ on te containers.. I'm on my 2nd go threw of the workout plan and have lost weight (not over weight by any means) but I just think I'd be better off counting calories thoughts? (Don't be rude please!!)

Welcome to MFP
It is free.
Do not buy any more containers and follow MFP guidelines. Read the "MFP recommended post".
buy a food scale ( $7 at your local supermarket). weigh all the food you ingest. Eat at a deficit.
You can evaluate after a month, if you wish to continue spending money on "21 day fix containers". I have no idea what they are, other than your information above.
Good luck in your healthy journey0 -
Don't like the containers. Not enough protein IMO.0

They're just basically Tupperware containers, which you can get a stack of for a dollar at Dollar Tree, for instance. And it's not going to be accurate, anyway, especially with things like, say, rice or mashed potatoes. You can just shove it in and call it good, whereas weighing with a scale will be accurate.
It's honestly not worth the money. The workouts I'm told a lot of people like, but you can get equivalent ones online on YouTube, or on-demand if you have cable or satellite. So, in other words, useless.0 -
If you didn't lose weight, you were eating at maintenance, which is easy to do when you're close to goal. MFP + food scale + accurate logging=results.0

Very expensive tupperware is not necessary for weight loss. Buy a food scale instead and track on MFP. Much better investment.0

I saw those in a commercial, too...but quickly thought about the accuracy of it, and figured I'd stick to MFP. I need to get better about measuring everything on a scale, though.0

I just use my regular container that I got in a 99 cent store, I pack my lunch there daily, and seriously of course I use my scale to weigh my food to be more accurate but it works wonderful cause it's divided in 3 spaces, one small space that I know that no matter how much rice I try to fit, it won't fit more than 150 g cooked, and then next is another space for my meat that again no matter how much meat I try to pack, it won't hold more than 6 oz of chicken and lastly a big space for veggies that I don't really care about the calories anyways.
so bottom line I don't think you need the "especial containers" from fix 21, you can buy regular tupperware, use your food scale and you are going to be surprise of how good with time you are going to get with estimations!
good luck0
