Question about my Fitbit One

Hello,
I was wondering who has a Fitbit One on here. I have a question in regards to the sleep tracking. I read the user manual for the device and it says to hold the bottom down for two seconds to put the phone into sleep mode and then again upon waking to take it off of the sleep mode. I tried this last night; however, it did not work. I went in this morning and manually added the time I went to sleep and woke up, but it still shows steps that it counted when sleeping.
Does anyone know a fix for this?
Thanks in advance for any info :)

I also have the Fitbit One but haven't had any problems putting it into sleep mode. When you held the button down initially, did you see it start counting seconds?
Also, it's not unusual to see the device falsely register steps while in sleep mode. Most nights it shows anywhere from 10 to 75 steps for me.

You can put any Fitbit in & out of sleep mode via the app. Tap the sleep panel (it has a moon), then the + at top right, then "Begin Sleep Now."

PS. MFP has a Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users

Thanks for the tip! I will try setting it from the app this evening :)
